November 10, This shit is getting real!

I went to the clinic this morning at 7:30am for a Baseline vaginal ultrasound & bloodwork. Dr Green & a nurse, Shirley met me in the ultrasound room.
The doctor indicated that everything appeared normal and that both ovaries may produce several and perhaps "too many" eggs.
The doctor explained to me that they were going to trace a map for IVF transfer in the future, which is similar to doing a PAP.

The ultrasound & mapping was quick; everything looks normal and very good.
I was then triaged into a waiting room to chat with Shirley (the nurse) about my upcoming treatment.
Shirley mentioned that she couldn't provide me with a lot of further information until they have my blood work results back, she informed me that I would be getting a phone call between 11am-12pm with the Blood-work results & timetable confirmation information.

After meeting with Shirley I was asked to speak with the Pharmacy, at the clinic for education. I went to the pharmacy to check in and found the pharmacist that I checked in with extremely rude and off-putting. I was shocked by her presentation. I found her to be unhelpful and abrasive. Not cool! I told her so too! I informed her of how she made me feel (sad, disappointed and dejected). She apologized for making me feel that way. I told her it was constructive feedback that she can apply to her professionalism and client care.
Thankfully the rude pharmacist was not the one to provide my education. Another pharmacist met with me in a counselling room to provide education on how to administer my injections. The education session was extremely helpful; I feel prepared for the next steps although uncertain of how it will go.

11:23am this morning I received a call from the clinic confirming that everything is good to go, and my bloodwork came back normal (no surprise- everything is fine!). The nurse on the phone was sweet, and helpful. She informed me that I will start injections today, and come back to the clinic at 7:30am on Thursday, November 13th for blood-work again. She also offered Dennis & I a counselling appointment which is included in our fees, and strongly recommend for couples to attend. Dennis & I will attend the appointment at the clinic on Thursday at 8:45am. I didn't know that counselling is provided/offered (although just one appointment) I'm pleased with the opportunity, I think it will be helpful for us.

So, Dennis & I start antibiotics today 2x/ day. I decrease my Superfact (nasal spray) to 3 times/ day now, and I start injections of 150 IU of Gonal F, and 75 Luveris tonight. I need to take both injections at the same time daily.

Ill report back on how the injections go.

Im a visual person, and appreciate pictures (it helps me understand a situation better if I can see it) so here are some photos:
