I hardly feel pregnant at all. I could possibly be one of those women who didnt know they were pregnant (aside from not getting my period every month and expanding a bit). Im doing so well!
My main symptom is increased fatigue (evenings only), and increased appetite. My appetite is much more manageable now. I dont need to eat as often as I was, but when I get hungry it comes on strong so I try to be proactive and eat snacks more often. I pack lunches to work, rather than eating at the cafeteria so I am managing well.
Today I made a major purchase, and got ourselves a Lazy Boy Chair. Ive always wanted one, and decided to splurge on a multipurpose chair, rather than a nursery specific fancy chair, which would cost the same price as the Lazy Boy. The chair is not the color that I wanted, I would have preferred an Ivory color, but unfortunately that color isnt available to Canadian residents without paying a lot more. I hope this tan color will work well with our current furniture, and that Dennis will be happy with it (see photos below). The Lazy Boy was on sale, so I got it for $1049, rather than $1650. I may however, still consider getting this chair for the nursery (which I found on costco for cheap, it looks like the one I wanted from West Coast Kids for $1200) http://www.costco.ca/Alex-GliderRecliner-%E2%80%93-Grey-.product.100143359.html.
This past week we also received and set up a bookshelf in the nursery (as you can see behind me in the pictures).
We're waiting on the crib still, it'll be a few more weeks yet.
Cravings: Still none.
Weight: increased 5 pounds aprox.
Excited for: going to Mexico next week, with my family (March 1-8)!
I was hoping to "pop" before the trip, so that I look pregnant in my bikinis (which by the way, I had to buy new swim wear, as my others werent fitting). However, my belly hasnt popped and may not within the next 1.5 weeks.
Clothing: The only maternity clothes I have worn so far, have been maternity jeans 2x jean friday at work.
