November 20- HCG (my body is a test tube) and VERY exciting news!

Today I got a phone call from the clinic updating me to take my HCG trigger shot (which will essentially help for me to release the eggs), at 10pm this evening. Dennis & I will go into the clinic 35 hours later, at 8:30am on Saturday morning for the egg retrieval as well as semen sample. I will be under conscious sedation during the procedure, which will take approximately 30 minutes. I will be at the clinic for half an hour prior to the procedure as well as 1-2 hours after the retrieval.
I no longer have to do any injections (other than the HCG this evening) or nasal spray. But will continue to take the Folic acid & baby aspirin. This has been easy so far! I havent had any adverse reactions, aside from increased anxiety and irritability.
I will update you all after the egg retrieval on Saturday.

Also, BIG NEWS!!! My lovely sock buddy (fellow IVF friend) had her baby girl this morning!! I am so happy and proud of you, you have been an inspiration and support for me on this journey! Congratulations to the family!! Xo
