December 11- Ultrasound Scheduled, confirmation and a gorgeous surprise

Today, like every Tuesday & Thursday, I was working at the Children's Hospital (boooo- actually it wasnt bad at all). I have no reception in the inpatient mental health unit in the basement (hows that for stigmatizing mental illness? Put all the mental health kids in the basement, sure!). Prior to starting my shift  I left a message on the fertility clinic "Pregnancy Test line" indicating I wouldnt be available to answer my phone until 3pm. Shortly after 3pm I received a call from Teanna at the Fertility Clinic cheerfully informing me that I am very pregnant! Yay! She also informed me that I will continue taking all of my medications including progesterone (vaginally x6), estrogen (pill x2), and folic acid daily until January 18th. The Fertility Clinic books the first ultrasound for clients who live in Calgary, they suggested an appointment on December 29th, but that wont work for us, as we'll be in Quesnel; so we were able to make an earlier appointment on December 24th. I am actually so excited about this, it will be the best Christmas gift ever to hear our babies heart beat for the first time! Our appointment is scheduled for 8:15am on December 24th! It is a bit early, at 6.5 weeks rather than the suggested 7 week ultrasound but Teanna indicated that it shouldnt be a problem. Also, our due date was confirmed for August 16th! A lovely summer baby! Brandi S. told me before that she thinks having a baby during summer is ideal as you are able to stay home, and cozy up during the winter with your babe while they arent walking, and then get outside and enjoy the spring & summer time while babe is crawling and walking. 
Everything is working out so perfectly, Im afraid to breathe! 
I just want everything to continue going so well! 

I came home to the best surprise! I have the most wonderful family! My Aunt came into my house and put this on our table, from my Mom, Dad, Aunt, Uncle, Bradley, Trinity, KyBran, Kylie, Cam, Chase & Jersey. They are all celebrating with us!
