December 24, A very Merry Christmas! 7 week ultrasound (6 weeks, 4 days)

We had our first ultrasound today, 7 week ultrasound, however, we are at 6 weeks, and 4 days.  I was nervous and anxious to have the ultrasound done this early; some people cant see anything at 7 weeks, and being a few days early it makes it even less clear. 
The ultrasound went beautifully! Everything is perfect! Everything with this process so far has been easy. As far as symptoms, I feel great, very few symptoms including sore boobs, and more tired in the evening. I have been worried, because I feel so healthy and fine. 
Our ultrasound tech, Dawn was lovely, friendly and informative. We had an internal and external ultarsound; I was glad they did the internal, as you can see a lot more. She showed us our little blob of a baby. The heart beat measured at 118 BPM which is right on track for where it should be. 
Dennis appeared fascinated, and in awe. It was pretty special. 
This is the best Christmas gift, ever! I am so grateful and overjoyed! 

Our next ultrasound will be at 12 weeks, and will be performed at the Maternal Fetal Medical Clinic at Foothills, or Quarry park by specialists including someone from the IVF clinic to monitor and check everything. 
My ovaries are hyper-stimulated from the extra hormones that I have been taking, however, it isnt an issue. I need to continue taking progesterone (vaginally x 6) & estrogen x 2 daily until January 18th.
